Items marked blue are downloadable applications, items marked pink are websites!
Items with the link marked orange were used to create my site B)

Languages

Anki: Flashcards akimbo! An open source app that lets you use and create decks for whatever you want to study. I personally use this deck for Japanese. It also has a web version you can sync with your account to practice on the go.

Jisho: An online Japanese dictionary, very useful for learning the language! You can search by english words, romanji, kanji and kana. It gives you plenty of options and information. It really is great I use it all the time ^^

Kondaira - Ikastaroa: An old-timey site to learn the Vasque language! It is fully in Spanish though :)

Media

ChipTone: An online sound fx creation tool! It's very complete and the sounds you generate with it are completely free to use.

Clipgrab: Remember the days where people burned cds and filled mp3's with music taken from youtube? This is what I've used for that purpose for a long time. There may be far better ways and DO BE WARNED: the windows installer aggressively tries to make you install junkware. A version without that issue can be found in the link under the big download button.

Gimp: An open source image editor. Photoshop's more convoluted and less of an asshole cousin. Once you get used to the terrible interface it's pretty useful and great! But it is an image editor made by programmers for programmers, not for artists.

Radiooooo: Pick a decade, pick a country in the worldmap, and listen to music from all around the world! This site is great for discovering new, obscure music. Also if you are in the very specific mood for, say, 1930s Tanzanian music?

WebDev

Dafont: A. LOT. OF. FONTS. You can check them out, you can download them, you can use them for your oh so nefarious plans, what's not to love? Licence is specified as well, which is always nice.

Dither Me This: An online dithering tool with many presets and customizable options. The site looks really cool as well! It's what I've used to compress and adapt big images to the color palette of my pages ^^

Lospec - Palettes: A cozy site full of pixel art and color palettes! My pages are usualy themed around them, for this page it's Witching Hour :]

Pentacom - Bitfontmaker2: An online font-maker tool! It also has a gallery with some pretty cool fonts I've borrowed for my site heheheh
